Request a room away from the kitchen to avoid cooking smells and noise for a more comfortable stay.

The cozy atmosphere was the highlight, making our stay feel special. The friendly staff made everything better 😊. A downside was the noise from the kitchen, which disrupted our restful moments.

It was just a perfect match for a short stint in Ansty with good price-quality ratio. The 12.5% service charge was a bit unexpected, but the drinks were nice. Be prepared for a bit of noise from above.

The Royal Oak has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The gourmet food blew me away. the chef offered insightful recommendations and took pride in his work. I loved the spacious Deluxe Twin LG Double room. the bed felt fantastic. the room was cold when I arrived, and it took a while for the radiators to heat up fully. I noticed dust in various spots and some cobwebs near the windows. The entrance to my room definitely could use a solid clean, and the stairs looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Regardless, the overall vibe of the pub, including the beautiful oak room and lovely garden seating area, made up for these minor inconveniences. The quality of towels and food was exceptional. I would return for another stay with family.

Charming traditional pub ambiance, enhanced by clean, well-appointed bedrooms featuring comfortable beds and fresh milk in the fridge. The staff delivered exceptionally friendly and helpful service. Dinner included warm bread, with deliciously cooked food that exceeded expectations. some dishes felt a bit pricey, and the noise level was high during peak hours, which might detract from a quiet evening.

A cozy getaway in the countryside
I stayed here for one night, and wow! The place is just so stunning. The room was spotless, and that bed felt like clouds. I loved the fresh milk and coffee station—they really nail the personal touch. The staff were super friendly, but the skate I had for dinner was a bit on the salty side. Still, I’d say the food’s worth it!

A comfortable stay with spacious rooms and excellent food, though the steak wasn't cooked as requested. The service was friendly and helpful, and the location is lovely. Minor noise from the kitchen and an outdated staircase carpet detracted slightly from the experience.
